Hammer Grip Liquid Chalk is formulated with the perfect blend of ingredients to ensure that once applied, the alcohol evaporates away within seconds and your hands are left behind with a perfect coat of magnesium carbonate. Our formula helps ensure that the chalk adheres well to your hands.

The alcohol content in Liquid Chalk is 8.5% by volume. 

Yes. The Liquid Chalk is similar to magnesium carbonate powder chalk, but contains few other ingredients to improve adherence and make it a liquid for portability/usability.

Yes. The Liquid Chalk can be used for cheerleading as well. We have customers who use it for cheerleading and prefer the liquid chalk since it adheres well to the hands compared to traditional powder chalk. Liquid Chalk also leaves behind less mess compared to other chalks.

Since Liquid Chalk contains magnesium carbonate, it absorbs moisture from hands. We suggest washing hands with warm water and soap and moisturizing hands after use. Moisturizing would really help people with dry hand problems as it rejuvenates the essential oils and moisture content.

It is not absolutely necessary, however we highly recommend washing hands with warm water and soap to ensure that you start with a clean canvas and remove any dirt and grime that might hinder the performance of the Liquid Chalk.

The main functioning ingredient in our products is Magnesium Carbonate, which helps improve grip by absorbing moisture and sweat from hands. As a matter of fact, our Chalk Balls and Powder Chalk are 100% Premium Magnesium Carbonate.

It is highly recommended that you wash your hands after using Hammer Grip Chalk. You should be washing your hands after your workout session for hygenic purposes. However, it is even more important to wash your hands with warm water and soap after your session using chalk to ensure that you wash away the chalk. We also highly recommend using a moisturizer after washing your hands.

Yes. All of our Chalk Balls are refillable. Simply purchase a larger Powder Chalk Bag to get the most value for your money. When the chalk runs out from Chalk Ball, simply open the drawstring, and use a scoop or spoon to refill the ball with Powder Chalk. Close the drawstring and you have a brand new Chalk Ball.

Shake the contents of Liquid Chalk well before each application. Apply a tiny blob (we recommend the size of a dime or penny). Rub your hands together lightly ensuring you cover the hands evenly. Pay attention to areas that will help your grip (such as webbing between thumb and index finger). Let air dry for several seconds and you are good to go. Make sure to close the bottle lid after each application to avoid drying up the solution.
